GAT Virtual Expo: Strategies for recovery in Latam, a talk in charge of Mariano Molina
2 minutos de lectura
(Colombia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mariano Molina, Marketing and Operations One Way Consulting, was in charge of the talk : ”Strategies for recovery in Latin America, within GAT Virtual Expo. “The world , has changed, we should not panic; it will pass,” said Molina, who considers that 2020 marks a change of era in which the gaming industry should reinvent.

One of the main concepts of Molina Zavalìa is the importance of reinventing the gaming industry. "New players are joining who are looking for new platforms, new places and ways to play."
"You have to get out of the box," adds Molina. “What we knew no longer exists. Traditional casinos have to rethink the way they attract customers. An important concept is biosecurity. How to make sure that the players come confidently to play, after the coronavirus pandemic? ”, He wonders. "How prepared are we?"
All traditional casinos offer the same products and services. What changes are the customers and the different ways of seeing the game. "The look must be focused on customers, markets and the value proposition we offer."
The action plan, according to Molina, must have: creativity, innovation, loyalty and easy access. "You can no longer give away credits, drinks, food, etc., as in the past," says Molina, who adds that 60% of the casino target are risk groups.
Molina talks about the cabin syndrome (the players have secluded themselves at home) and the austerity syndrome (they spend less).
He also states that casinos, like restaurants, are going to have to provide a more fun offer. And keep in mind that customers are going to take more than a year to return. The goal will be to think of few high-value customers that make a difference. "Traditional casinos are going to have to think of online as a coexistence tool for customers, if they want to be profitable."
Then he gave the example of casinos like Conrad, Enjoy, etc. For which the transition is going to cost a lot, since tourism is one of the hardest hit industries, he adds. “A physical reconfiguration is important: More space, more cleaning. And you have to bear in mind that the competition will be fierce ”.
The proposals:
-Analyze the players with management software, customer CRM.
-Think about offers for local clients.
Strategy:
-Have the most exciting and creative product, in a call to manufacturers.
-It will be difficult to hire expensive shows.
-In terms of game offer, you will have to choose the best machines.
-Automated payment methods (virtual wallets) will be preferred by customers.
-Biosecurity standards
-Unification of criteria for the payment of taxes, fees and IIBB.
-Reach a great agreement with the main players in this industry, with a common approach to face the recovery of the activity.
