GR8 Tech Stands Out at GAT Cartagena with Strong Sportsbook Focus Ahead of World Cup
⏱ 2 min read
(Bogota, SoloAzar Exclusive).- At this year’s GAT Cartagena, GR8 Tech made its presence felt with a clear emphasis on sportsbook growth and scalability—topics that dominated conversations with operators across Latam. Alvaro Mosquera, Head of Business LATAM, said that while many exhibitors focused on land-based solutions, GR8 Tech’s positioning around platform stability, speed, and readiness for high-traffic events drew genuine interest, especially with the World Cup just months away.
Networking, Growth, and GR8 Tech’s Standout Role ,at GAT Cartagena
“I was pleasantly surprised to see that the expo has grown in the number of exhibitors and participants. Exploring the expo was a very positive experience. I had the chance to meet with industry colleagues and operators from different countries, where we discussed current challenges and opportunities in South and Central American markets. It was also clear that GR8 Tech was strongly positioned throughout the event, attracting genuine interest from operators looking for scalable solutions to support growth,” Mosquera said.
Conversations That Mattered: Operators’ Priorities and GR8 Tech’s Fit
“In this edition, I only toured the expo and met with industry colleagues and operators at side events. That said, those conversations were extremely valuable from a business perspective. It was a good opportunity to better understand what operators are prioritizing right now and where GR8 Tech’s offering resonated most strongly,” he added.
Sportsbook Innovation Gap Highlights GR8 Tech’s Strength
“Although the majority of exhibitors are aimed at land-based operators, what stood out was not what I saw but what was missing,” pointed Mosquera. “With only a few months left before the World Cup—one of the biggest global drivers of betting activity—there was surprisingly little emphasis on sportsbook innovation or dedicated solutions that could help operators maximize performance during peak demand”.
“That made GR8 Tech stand out more clearly. Our conversations with operators were strongly focused on sportsbook growth, cross-sell, and readiness for high-traffic periods. It also reinforced how relevant our current priorities are, particularly ensuring sportsbook platform stability, speed, and scalability ahead of the World Cup, when performance directly impacts both revenue and player retention,” he remarked.
GR8 Tech Draws Strong Operator Interest for Latin American Expansion
“The side events at the GAT Expo Colombia offered great networking opportunities to meet and be introduced to potential operators seeking a 360-degree proven iGaming platform to serve as the backbone for their expansion into additional Latin American countries beyond their home market. We saw genuine interest in having the right platform in place to support that expansion. There was strong interest in GR8 Tech’s capabilities, especially from operators exploring how to build a stronger backbone for regional growth,” he concluded.
