As in previous editions, the four thematic axes on which the event programming will revolve are: regulation, internationalization, opportunities and innovation, in addition to topics proposed by the regulators of the different attending countries.
The organization has confirmed the presence of regulators from Chile, Panama, Peru, Colombia, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Portugal and Buenos Aires in Argentina:
• Manuel Sánchez Ortega, Executive Secretary of the Gaming Control Board of Panama,
• Luis Felipe Coelho, Director of Gaming Regulation and Inspection Service, Portugal.
• Yuri Guerra Padilla, General Director of Casino Games and Slot Machines of Peru accompanied by the Vice Minister of his country.
• Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán, Interim Director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission.
• Rosa María Muñoz, Regulation and Compliance Manager of the Ecuadorian National Lottery
• Marco Antonio Sánchez Vaca, Executive Director of the Fiscal and Gambling Control Authority of Bolivia
• Vivien Villagrán Acuña, Superintendent of Gaming Casinos of Chile.
• Carlos Liseras Osorio, President of CONAJZAR, Paraguay.
• Martín García Santillán, General Manager of the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• Marco Emilio Hincapié Ramírez, President of Coljuegos, Colombia.
• Leonardo Manuel Figueroa, General Director of Games and Sweepstakes of Mexico.
Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán, Interim Director of the Gaming Commission of the Government of Puerto Rico, in his capacity as institutional host of the event, was very excited by the number of regulators from different countries who will attend the event; "We are proud that, for the first time, Puerto Rico is hosting this event that brings together dozens of countries. The Iberoamerican Summit represents an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge between different countries that contribute to strengthening and standardizing protocols and regulations of the gaming industries regulated by the government. We are sure that this event will be of great benefit and growth for everyone. Welcome to our home!"
One month before the celebration, the details of the program are being finalized. In a format of round tables and presentations, the most current and interesting topics for the sector will be discussed; from advertising to technology, regulation and business. Thanks to the presence of international experts and professionals, trends will be analyzed and debates will be generated at the highest level.
The meeting is presented as an ideal channel for networking and the creation of synergies at the Ibero-American level, in addition to serving as an analysis platform of international scope. A good example of this is the proposal made by the president of Coljuegos, Marco Emilio Hincapié, who has proposed the formation of an international commission that is in charge of jointly constructing different regulations for games and chance in Latin America, an issue that regulators confirmed to this summit from more than a dozen countries will debate in Puerto Rico.
