ICE Barcelona 2026: Clarion Gaming and ANJL join forces for responsible gaming in Brazil

As part of a global strategy aimed at connecting, informing and inspiring the international gaming industry, Clarion Gaming presented its plans for ICE Barcelona 2026 in Brasilia during a high-level symposium held on September 3. The meeting brought together representatives of the private sector and representatives of the Brazilian Government, consolidating Brazil as one of the markets with the greatest projection on the world stage.

The event was organized by Clarion Gaming together with the National Association of Games and Lotteries of Brazil (ANJL) and was attended by prominent deputies, regulatory authorities and leading operators such as Kaizen Gaming and Aposta Ganha. The strong institutional presence reflected the joint commitment between the public and private sectors for the development of a robust and transparent gaming ecosystem.

Among the attendees were Giovanni Rocco, Secretary of Economic Development of Betting and Sports of the Ministry of Sports; Plínio Machado, president of the ANJL; and Ricardo Magri, director of the EBAC, who underlined the strategic relevance of the dialogue between industry and the State.

During the symposium, Liliana Costa, Clarion Gaming's director for Latin America, remarked that ICE Barcelona 2026 will be a key platform to strengthen regional cooperation. "ICE will have a special focus on Latin America, with Brazil as the protagonist of a dedicated program that will include specialized seminars, regulatory updates, networking spaces and strategic debates," he said.

One of the most relevant announcements was the launch of Casa Brasil, an exclusive and private space within ICE Barcelona, designed to promote the exchange of best practices, the development of robust regulatory frameworks and the generation of international alliances. The initiative also aims to strengthen the fight against the illegal market and to guarantee a safe and reliable environment for operators and players.

In the same vein, Plinio Lemos Jorge, president of ANJL, stressed that the meeting represented "a milestone of integration for the regulated sector", allowing strategic agendas to be aligned for ICE 2026 and strengthening ties that will boost the growth of the Brazilian betting market.

The Brasilia meeting marked the beginning of a stage of closer collaboration between ICE and the Brazilian gaming industry, positioning the country not only as a participant, but as a key player in the definition of debates, regulatory strengthening and the international projection of the sector.
