Interblock was present at GAT Caribe 2022

(Punta Cana).- The Gaming & Technology Expo 2022, in its Caribbean edition, took place on June 8, 9 and 10 at The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club. The protagonists of the sector in the region met there.
The central themes? The importance of self-regulation in gaming, the regulatory experience in the region and its challenges, and new generation gaming, online gaming and cybersecurity, among others.
In an interview with Galy Olazo, Regional Sales Manager of Interblock, she brings us her view of the current panorama in the Caribbean region.
What balance do you make about the GAT Caribe 2022?
It is the first time that I have attended this event in the Dominican Republic and I believe that the intention has been to bring the country's operators and authorities closer together, generating synergy to activate economic ties between operators and manufacturers.
How do you see the Caribbean gaming industry?
Interblock has a tremendous growth opportunity in the Caribbean, as it is a market that is advancing towards technology and innovation. We are looking to achieve a competitive advantage that will help you get out of the economic impact of the pandemic. At this point, our company has everything that customers need for their operation, the sustained growth of the brand and the great results of our roulette wheels and machines will achieve a successful advance in the region.
What opportunities and challenges does Interblock LatAm have to continue making its way in that region?
We must be able to enter markets that have been led for years, generally by a single brand. However, I see it as an opportunity -and even- a great possibility for customers to access other options and the possibility of having variety in their rooms.
