(Malta).- The International Gaming Standards Association’s (IGSA) members continue to set the stage for industry innovation with globally focused standards. Now at ICE, IGSA will be on stand #ND7-A, discussing the organization’s strategy and plans for 2020. In addition to standards, regulatory education will be a key focus for the organization globally.

International Gaming Standards Association Sets Strategy for Industry Innovation at ICE 2020

IGSA enters ICE on a high note following an incredibly successful 2019. For example, GSA Europe continued to serve as a liaison organization to the Comité Européen de Normalisation’s (CEN) Technical Committee TC456, and GSA Europe’s Managing Director Mark Pace was elected by the CEN to co-lead on a project to create a pan-European online gaming-reporting standard which is nearing completion.

Additionally, GSA Europe donated its Regulatory Reporting Interface and Regulatory Data Set draft standards to CEN to help TC456’s activities. Also in Europe, the Malta Gaming Authority used IGSA’s RRI Standard as part of its newly revised online gaming reporting regulations.

Meanwhile, in APAC, IGSA created GSA Japan to provide relevant educational services and act as a conduit offering unbiased gaming industry information and education on the technical aspects of gaming and regulation.

“IGSA is honored to continue to help the industry move forward to a future that is ever-more exciting. Because of our members’ dedication and collaboration, IGSA standards and education give the global industry a solid platform from which they can innovate and create the next generation of gaming devices and systems for the next generation of players,” said IGSA President Peter DeRaedt.

There is an IGSA level of membership to fit every budget. For more information, visit IGSA at ICE or anytime at IGSA.org.

IGSA Platinum members include: Aristocrat Technologies Inc.; International Game Technology (IGT); Konami Gaming Inc.; Microgaming Software Systems, LTD.; NOVOMATIC AG; Playtech, (PTEC.L) & Scientific Games International (SGMS).
