(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Payam Zadeh, General Manager JCM Europe/Managing Director JCM Europe (UK), granted an interview to SoloAzar within ICE 2020, in which the firm displayed its wide range of products. He talked about the participation of the firm at the show, held in London last February 4-6.
What are you exhibiting this year at ICE 2020?
We are displaying a wide range of products on our stand this year, with the new UBA® Pro Family, and the MRX being highlights. The UBA Pro Family consists of a bill validator – the UBA® Pro – and two bill recyclers for two and four denominations – the UBA® Pro-RT™ and UBA® Pro-RQ™.
The MRX™ Modular Banknote Recycler is ideal for a wide range of payment terminal and redemption kiosk and was created for ultimate flexibility, because it allows operators to select the number of cassettes they need for each individual application.
Other products on display are e.g. iVIZION®, RDM™, iPRO-RC™, tbv™, VEGA™, GEN5™ as well as the system technologies FUZION®, Ticket2Go™, ICB® and PromoNET®.
What is the product that stands out at the show?
The major focus of the JCM stand at ICE will be the new UBA® Pro Family, which sets a new standard in bill validation. It builds on the solid foundation of the best of our bill validation technologies and raises the bar. The new product suite offers high note-to-note speed and a superior sensor for faster acceptance of banknotes and tickets while maintaining great usability. Also, it features field proven, unbeatable security against manipulation while remaining highly technician-friendly for less reduced downtimes and smoother easy on-site services. The UBA® Pro Family also offers integration with other cutting-edge JCM products like the Intelligent Cash-Box ICB®. The UBA Pro bill recyclers offer two, respectively four recycling drums, each of 30 notes.
How is the company positioned in this region?
Europe is one of JCM’s key regions. This is reflected in a very strong local presence of the company. In 1999 JCM opened an office in Germany, followed by a UK office in 2009. Our German site today is JCM’s EMEA Headquarters from where we provide Software Development, Customer Service, repairs and training for Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa. This whole region is covered with a network of local JCM sales representatives.
How important is for the company to participate in ICE?
We think it’s important to have a place where all major manufacturers gather. This attracts buyers and gives us the opportunity to establish new business relationships. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity to gather inspiration for future developments. As an event of global importance for the industry, ICE allows us to achieve these objectives. JCM Global has always understood and seized the opportunities that ICE offers. We anticipate an excellent show and look forward to seeing existing customers and meeting new ones.
This is the first important trade show of the year, How does the calendar of events continues for the company and which are expectations?
ICE is a great way to kick off our exciting year of trade shows. JCM Global is proud to exhibit at the GAT Expo, Peru Gaming Show, and SAGSE later this year. We are committed to the Latin America market, and we are looking forward to discussing what JCM has to offer. Of course, you will also find us at G2E in Las Vegas in October. And towards the end of the year, JCM will be at the BEGE in Eastern Europe, where we see great potential in an emerging market.
What are the goals you hope to achieve in this 2020?
Since we have received very positive feedback to our new UBA Pro Family we expect to achieve a very successful year with this product suite in all of our gaming markets, such as casino, arcade and pub, as this modularity covers all customer needs and market requirements. In addition, we expect to help operators to cut their cash management costs by using MRX in their redemption kiosks.
How does Brexit affect the industry in this region?
As JCM has been in the UK market for 10 years, we are well prepared for Brexit and are able to cover all market demand by our office in UK. Therefore, JCM can provide the same service as usual.
