(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Joe López, CEO of AMG, the organizer of the Peru Gaming Show, shared his views on the importance of attending international trade shows like G2E Las Vegas, where the industry updates, connects, and projects itself. He highlighted the enthusiasm that PGS 2026 is already generating among exhibitors and operators. He also warned about the proliferation of parallel events in Lima, which could fragment the industry rather than strengthen it.
G2E: A Key Opportunity to Connect, Update, and Grow
“As is our custom, every year we visit the industry shows offered. This gives us the opportunity to keep up with the latest developments, visit our clients, and seek out potential new clients. G2E offers us an excellent opportunity to do all of that under one roof,” said Joe López about the Las Vegas show.
“G2E is an excellent showcase for us to meet our goals in line with our attendance at other shows. As G2E is one of the industry's leading shows, it is very well attended, and many of our clients are present. In this showcase, it is possible to find the latest developments in the gaming world, which we will surely see at PGS,” he added.
Innovation, networking, and learning
“The exhibition hall is where we spend most of our time. There we see the latest developments in the industry and, at the same time, we connect with our existing and potential clients. Networking and conferences are highly interactive and learning events that benefit gaming stakeholders,” he commented.

PGS 2026 Gains Momentum
“We are fully focused on marketing for PGS 2026, which will be held on June 17 and 18,” said López when asked about the upcoming edition. “We had a very good reception at G2E from our current and potential clients, and we hope to be very successful at ICE as well. Clients who participated in PGS this year were very satisfied with their results, and many are already booking their return for 2026.”
Side Events in Lima and the Risk of Industry Fragmentation
Joe López warns: “The only negative thing we hear in the market is that some machine manufacturers and small event organizers take advantage of the PGS event to also organize events or shows, causing discomfort, since, whether operators (especially these) or suppliers, they have received invitations from all over the place. In our conversations with operators and suppliers, they have expressed their discomfort and unease because they no longer know where to go, knowing that what they really want to attend is the main event, which is PGS.
“When we started PGS, it was with the intention of promoting the development and unity of “THE INDUSTRY,” generating and creating benefits for all participants. However, the way some are trying to capitalize on PGS's success by bringing thousands of people to Lima is creating division, not unity," he concludes.
