Konami stands out with omnichannel solutions at Peru Gaming Show 2024

Could you comment on the characteristics of the novelties and trends you have presented at the Peru Gaming Show 2024?

PGS 2024 featured a strong selection of Konami game content, spanning both land-based and iGaming sectors. Several of today’s industry top-performing series were displayed, across our latest DIMENSION series of slot cabinets. In addition, Konami showcased a wide variety of online games—from casino classics like China Shores to today’s top hits like All Aboard—available now through our owned Remote Gaming Server (RGS), which integrates with many of the most common Internet Gaming Systems (IGS) for online real money and online social gaming.

What kind of response have you received from visitors and attendees at the show?

Dragon’s Law Fortune, Stuffed Coins, and Lucky Honeycomb Fortune attracted a lot of attention, as we look forward to bringing these popular series to more casino venues in 2024. We also connected with customers interested in discussing details of Konami’s iGaming technology and library.

How important is the Peruvian market for your company?

Peru is a key Latin American market for Konami Gaming. Our games have been in the market for many years now. Our local distributor, Pacific Gaming, has done a tremendous job in expanding the Konami brand, and we’re continuing to support Peruvian operators with new entertainment and tech solutions to support long-term success.

How does the recent regulation in Peru impact the online sector? What opportunities and challenges have arisen as a result of this change in your company?

This is great news to all. Peru becoming a regulated market for the online sector for sure will bring great benefit for the country, for the operators, for the suppliers, and most important for the players. We are very excited with this, as several of our existing customer on the land-based casinos will also operate an online casino, and they want to take advantage of the omni-channel opportunities that Konami can provide them. This is for sure where Konami’s products can make a huge difference to them.

How do you see the growth of the iGaming industry in Latin America?

Regulated iGaming is important for long-term consumer safety and gaming industry growth. For online operators that also have land-based casinos, it has the possibility to open the door for omni-channel strategies to power more business across more player touchpoints. Konami is focused on supporting the Peruvian market is across its emerging iGaming sector.
