(Fort Lauderdale, SoloAzar Exclusive).- In Q&A after SBC Summit Americas 2026, Fernando Martinez, representative of LSports LATAM, talked about the company’s goals, achievements, and future plans in the region. Martinez shares insights on the evolving dynamics of the Latin American market, the importance of strategic partnerships, and how LSports is positioning itself as a leading data and trading services provider.
Objectives and Achievements at SBC Summit Americas
What were your goals at SBC Summit Americas, and how do you assess LSports’ presence there?
Our objectives were straightforward: connect with the operators and B2B platforms driving the LATAM market forward, deepen existing relationships, and open new conversations with the right partners. What made this conference particularly meaningful was the shift in the dynamic at our booth. Operators and platforms came to us with pointed, specific questions, ready to talk business, which tells us that LSports has earned its place as a recognized name in this market, and the conversations reflect that.
Building Strategic Partnerships in LATAM
What new business opportunities or partnerships did you secure at the exhibition?
The quality of engagement at SBC Americas was notably higher than in previous years. We came in with a pre-scheduled meeting agenda, and those conversations were substantive — major regional operators and B2B platforms exploring how LSports can serve as their primary data partner, not just a supplementary feed. We closed business at the event and left with several strong conversations at advanced stages. Operators that once worked with us in a limited capacity are now asking how to make us their main provider, and that's the direction the market is moving.
Which key trends and challenges discussed at the event will shape the future of gaming?
The most consistent theme at the booth was a desire for genuine partnership. Operators across the region are reassessing their relationships with legacy data providers and asking whether those providers are truly invested in their success — or primarily focused on satisfying their own shareholders. What we heard repeatedly is that the market wants a partner that understands local realities: regulatory pressures, pricing sensitivity, and the need for long-term alignment. The shift from transactional data relationships to strategic, collaborative partnerships will define the next phase of this industry, and LSports is built around that model.
What did LSports present at the event, and what are its key benefits?
Conversations at our booth centered on two things. First, our data offering — the speed, coverage, and reliability of LSports' sports data is no longer a debate in the market. Second, and increasingly, managed trading. Operators across the region are demanding more from their risk management services, and the industry benchmarks, were built for a different era. LSports wasn't. LTS (LSports Trading Services) was built from the ground up for where the market is today and where it's going: a fully managed trading service designed for the speed, complexity, and ambition of modern operators. In a rapidly evolving industry, that distinction matters more than ever.
Future Plans and Market Opportunities Ahead
What upcoming launches and events will drive LSports’ next phase of growth?
We have a strong product roadmap ahead with several launches in the pipeline that will be relevant to LATAM operators — across both our data offering and the broader ARENA360 platform. We'll share more details through our official channels as those roll out. On the events side, iGB Live London is coming up shortly, and we'll continue building on the momentum from SBC Americas as we move through the second half of 2026.
With LATAM’s market evolving fast, what opportunities do you see and what are your expectations for 2026–2027?
LATAM is at an inflection point. Operators that have historically relied on intermediary B2B platforms are starting to build their own front ends and take more direct control of their product, creating a real opening for LSports to serve as the foundational layer: data, risk, and trading infrastructure. We're already seeing this play out with some of the biggest names in the region, and we expect it to accelerate. Our expectations for the rest of 2026 and into 2027 are strong — we're exceeding targets, growing our regional team, and deepening our local presence. The operators who will lead this market in five years are making partnership decisions today, and we intend to be their first call.
