Madrid is the new home of the AffPapa Conference

The AffPapa Conference has officially established its new home in Madrid, marking a significant step in the event’s ongoing expansion and increasing international relevance. The move reflects the rapid growth of the conference, which has evolved into a key meeting point for the global iGaming industry.

Following two successful editions in Malaga that brought together affiliates, operators, and B2B providers, the event quickly outgrew its original venue. Rising attendance and demand for broader networking opportunities prompted organizers to seek a larger, more globally connected host city.

Madrid emerged as the ideal destination for several strategic reasons. The city offers outstanding international accessibility, with Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport linking it to more than 200 destinations worldwide. Its position as a bridge between Europe and Latin America also strengthens its appeal, connecting two of the most important regions in the iGaming landscape.

In addition, Madrid stands out as a major hub for business and technology, home to multinational corporations and a thriving startup ecosystem. Beyond its professional advantages, the city’s vibrant social scene, renowned gastronomy, and dynamic nightlife provide extended networking opportunities beyond the conference environment.

Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO of AffPapa, highlighted the importance of the relocation, stating that the event required a new base capable of supporting its next phase of growth. He emphasized that Madrid’s global reach, energy, and scale align perfectly with the conference’s future ambitions.

What to expect at AffPapa Conference Madrid

The AffPapa Conference Madrid will take place on May 18–20 at the Novotel Madrid Center and is expected to welcome more than 1,500 attendees. The largest affiliate-led AffPapa Conference to date is to host an audience consisting of around 40% affiliates, 40% operators, and 20% B2B providers.

Across two full days, participants can expect a packed agenda that includes speed-dating networking sessions, expert-led panels, evening networking drinks, and the AffPapa iGaming Awards 2026. The conference also features its first-ever padel tournament as a side event and a Closing Party with EDM DJ Kryoman.

Making Madrid the home of the flagship AffPapa Conference event is an important milestone, opening the door to new connections, a wider international audience, and even bigger editions in the future.
