(Miami).- The second #CGSLatam2021 panel entitled as "Main challenges for physical operations" was presented and brought together for the first time leading representatives of the gaming industry from Peru, Argentina and Mexico, the speakers were: Manuel San Román - General Director of DGJCMT -Mincetur; Sebastián Vivot - Modernization and IT Manager of LOTBA, Alma de Lira - Director SEGOB and Carlos Carrión- Product and Marketing Manager of Aristocrat.
The experienced speakers exchanged ideas and possible solutions on the main challenges and problems of the sector and analyzed the perspectives of each country.

Sebastián Vivot commented: "It has been difficult for the gaming industry to position itself in the opening of the first phases, from the political sector our industry was relegated and we made them understand its importance and the resources it generates".
Likewise, Alma de Lira highlighted about the industry in Mexico: "Not all the casinos have opened, each governor determined how they were going to open, for this reason the federation had a decrease in participations and in the online games an increase was seen".
In turn, Manuel San Roman - General Director of the DGJCMT of Peru stated: "We proposed a well elaborated protocol, we prohibited the ingestion of food, we prohibited live shows. We were scheduled to reopen in August 2020 and we were asked for new protocols with small capacities and unfortunately the pandemic indexes were rising, the result of this has been terrible for the country. Unfortunately, not all the gaming halls were able to open. Currently the activity is hit in the country".
Likewise, Carlos Carrión emphasized: "The casino industry is highly regulated in several aspects and in different countries. Likewise, it is important to be an industry of integrity and transparency for society".
