Memorable performance for Betinvest at recent ICE London
⏱ 3 min read
(London).- ICE London 2020, one of the gambling industry’s most important events, took place from 4–6 February at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London. Betinvest COO Max Dubossarsky shared his take on the event, highlighting what was significant and memorable for the Betinvest team.
How did ICE 2020 compare to ICE 2019 for Betinvest?
Our team thinks that the event gets more interesting and the bar is raised higher each year. We think this is because more and more companies attend the event as visitors. The industry is gaining momentum and is becoming more attractive to people who want to create their own gambling business. In addition, visitors to the exhibition, in our opinion, become more focussed from one event to the next, and know the results they want to obtain. Nearly everyone who visited our stand had specific queries and asked about the details of the products and services we provide. We would of course like to pay tribute to Clarion Events who organised the exhibition. It is thanks to them that all this communication is possible in different countries year after year.
Our participation in ICE London 2020 was particularly memorable. Our guests were able to test out our new products, as well as the tried and tested ones, and we held a number of meetings with our partners. We would like to thank our partner Expose Design for designing our stand, which was highly appreciated by both attendees and industry colleagues.
What type of interest did you receive from attendees that came to your stand?
We noted that most of the visitors to our stand and potential clients came from Latin America, India, the Caribbean and Europe. In previous years we mainly spoke to clients who did not yet have operations and wanted to start their own betting business, but this year the majority of visitors to our stand were company owners who wanted to expand their businesses with the help of our product range, and launch new projects on our Online Platform.
A deciding factor for our clients proved to be our flexibility and ability to customise the product to meet the requirements of their specific region. This is of course important for operators and their players, whose preferences vary according to region. We were also delighted to meet with our current clients and media partners. Events like this are an excellent place to discuss partnership prospects in person.
Which of Betinvet’s products and solutions were visitors most interested in?
The most popular requests from our visitors at ICE London 2020 were the White Label solution with MGA or local licensing, Sportsbook and eSportsbook as a Service, and our new product, Online Slot Games. Our Terminal Software Solution was also a crowd pleaser and is becoming more and more widely used in many countries. Although two years ago not all operators were ready for eSportsbook, now everyone recognises that esports is one of the main areas of interest for young audiences, who operators are keen to attract.
As I already mentioned, we presented our Online Slot Games at ICE London 2020 which, in addition to modern animated graphics, also benefit from having an in-built VR option. We were happy that they resonated with our visitors and current clients.
We can’t fail to note that it was not just attendees and our clients who were all interested in our products and solutions, but also industry colleagues. That was a great compliment and we were delighted to talk to them.
How important are industry events to Betinvest?
All ambitious companies strive to draw people’s attention, surprise them and be remembered. Taking part in industry-specific exhibitions is one of the key ways to meet our target audience in person, understand their interests and hear what they have to say. ICE London is one such event where every participant tries to amaze attendees with their product ranges and make sure their presentations are remembered. The biggest exhibition in our industry this year was a great success and we look forward to meeting many more people at our stand at other events around the world.
