Merkur Dosniha: innovations and perspectives at FIJMA 2024

What novelties did you present during this edition of FIJMA? What were the most outstanding products or services at your stand?

The highlight of Merkur Dosniha's product showcase was the new Roulette Spectra, which captivated visitors with its impressive features and unique properties. Additionally, we introduced the new Multigame Package M-Star and the innovative and popular Jackpot System Mystic Link for the arcade sector. For the pub sector, we showcased the proven Multigamer G-Box in its latest deluxe version, featuring a new roulette game among other updates. In the casino sector, Link Zone Rush and Link Zone Lounge were particularly successful in attracting the attention of visitors and customers.

How do you see the current Spanish market? What are your plans for growth and expansion in the Spanish market?

The Spanish gaming sector is a stable market. We have encountered political pressure, but since the last elections, we have noticed increased stability and normalcy. While the Spanish market is not currently experiencing growth, its stability ensures strong annual performance. Merkur Dosniha is one of the market leaders in Spain. We are focused on expanding our development teams to meet the high demand from our clients. In collaboration with our new partner, Spintec, we have developed the innovative new roulette game called Merkur Spectra. Its advanced technology and features are poised to set trends across all markets.

How are you taking advantage of the increase of the iGaming events in the country for this year as well as for 2025?

There are currently a lot of changes in the locations of the events in the gambling and online gambling industry. Even though the SBC is moving this year to Lisboa we are looking forward to the first ICE in Barcelona in January. This is a milestone for our industry. We appreciate that the show is now scheduled three weeks earlier, closer to the start of the year, and the new venue promises to bring innovation to the exhibits and attract new visitors.

How do you perceive the evolution of face-to-face gaming compared to online gaming?

People need human contact and love to play in a social and pleasant atmosphere. The experiences of recent months and years have shown that both types of gaming can successfully coexist. Online gaming and land-based gaming complement each other and can learn from each other's experiences, thereby further enhancing the entertainment value of both formats.

What are the next events you are going to attend?

Merkur Dosniha is currently focused on completing and perfecting the latest product developments to showcase them at the new trade fair in Torre Molinos, Andalusia, in September. Additionally, we are already dedicating significant resources to prepare for ICE 2025, which will be held in Barcelona for the first time and promises to be a particularly spectacular highlight for us.
