Welcome to the MERKUR World at G2E 2026

The company invites the press and attendees to explore their vibrant and diverse gaming world at G2E 2026. Visitors can get a firsthand impression of their trade show presence by visiting the booths featuring the iconic smiling MERKUR sun, located at stands 3353 and 3650.

Focus on Automation and Cashless Technologies

A major focus for MERKUR's showcase this year is the push towards fully automated, cashless solutions that reduce staff intervention and lower transaction costs. The product lineup heavily features compact, small-footprint terminals specifically tailored for the demanding environments of modern casinos and sports betting operations.

Key Product Highlights: Payment and Redemption Solutions

At the core of their presentation are three highly efficient financial and cash management terminals:

Cash Center Slim: Highly recommended for casinos and sports betting. It features a customer-friendly 15- or 23.8-inch touch screen framed with LED lighting. The terminal handles cashless player cards, TITO ticket printing and redemption, and automated pay-in/pay-out for sports betting slips. It is fully equipped with a PIN pad for bank cards and supports modern payment apps like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Despite its small footprint, it includes a bill dispenser with a capacity of up to 2,000 bills.

Cash Center Smart: Sharing many robust features with the Slim model, the Smart version is equipped with a more compact 10.1-inch touch screen. It notably includes a "Bill Breaking" functionality. It seamlessly handles cashless operations, TITO redemption, and mobile/bank payments within a space-saving design.

Card Redemption: Engineered for 100% self-service operation, this terminal eliminates the need for casino staff intervention. It allows players to effortlessly redeem their tickets in exchange for a prepaid gift card. The unit boasts a 23.8-inch LED-framed touch screen, a banknote acceptor holding between 500 and 1,000 notes/tickets, and a magnetic card dispenser with a 400-card capacity. Additionally, its debit card payment capability actively helps reduce transaction costs for players.

Statements by Marcel Heutmekers

Marcel Heutmekers, Senior Vice President MERKUR GAMES International, reflects on the company’s development and its next steps in further strengthening this position: “We will continue to build on the progress we have made, with a strong focus on launching and installing our new games across different markets. For this, we are extremely grateful for the strong support and confidence we receive from customers in Europe and Latin America. Their positive feedback and growing interest in our new launches give us a lot of confidence in the direction we are taking, and we will continue to execute on our strategy.”

With regard to this year’s G2E, he commented: “G2E is always a great opportunity to experience the dynamism of the industry and meet many customers in one place. I am really looking forward to this year’s show, presenting our new portfolio and engaging with customers and partners. The biggest change compared with last year is the larger lineup of new and exciting titles that we will be showcasing on our booth, as well as the fact that we can now share experiences from a significant number of actual installations. This brings a whole new dynamic to the conversation and demonstrates the progress we have made.”

When asked about the products and solutions that MERKUR is showcasing at G2E 2026, he pointed: “We will be showcasing a broad range of innovations at G2E. One of the key highlights is Paw Link, which made its debut at ICE in Barcelona. At G2E, we will give visitors a first look at Wish Paw and Voodoo Paw, the latest additions to the Paw Link family. In addition, we will be presenting a range of new and visually stunning titles, including Wild Temple 2, Imperial River Temple and Lion’s Amulet. Beyond the games, we will reveal our latest MOD EX cabinet solutions, including the new 49-inch C-Curved upright cabinet for the North American market. Together with the new offerings from Spintec, this gives us a powerful portfolio for G2E and demonstrates the combined strength and innovation of our Group.”

“G2E is not really about setting specific sales objectives. It is first and foremost about interacting with customers, listening to their feedback and making them part of our journey and ambition. We see G2E as an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, build new ones and bring customers with us on our journey to become a leading and preferred partner for casino operators worldwide," he concluded.
