Merkur unveiled an exciting range of new cabinets at recent ICE show

(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Merkur Gaming was present at the latest ICE with all its novelties at a bigger stand. David Orrick, Director of Industry Relations, talked to SoloAzar within the event. He made an evaluation about the show and anticipated some of the plans of the company for 2020.
What have you exhibited at ICE 2020?
As always at ICE in London, we regard it as the most significant trade show of the year for Merkur Gaming. This year we are exhibiting an exciting range of new cabinets, because the best games must have always the best cabinets, so we've gone big this year with a product called Avantgarde Max. The Avantgarde brand is well-known throughout the world, particularly in Latin America. We've always had requests for a bigger and more VIP version, and that's what we have now: the Avantgarde Max comes with two monitors of 32 inches each, and we also have the Avantgarde Max Trio, with 3 monitors.
How have you seen the show this year?
It is vitally important for all major manufacturers, but particularly for Merkur Gaming, to be present at ICE in London. ICE, together with G2E in Las Vegas is one of the two fully global b2b exhibitions and we expect here to meet our customers and our business partners from around the world. From all we have seen in these three days, our expectations were absolutely correct.
The next major event for us takes us back to the United States of America, to San Diego, California, where in March there will be the annual NIGA exhibition, which is the biggest show of the year in the world of tribal gaming. We will have an exciting display there including new games, some of which are produced in America by our design studio based in Las Vegas with Sunshine Games, and we are hoping to extend our cooperation with NIGA and have an excellent event there.
What are your plans for 2020?
At the moment the two trends for the whole gaming industry are online gaming and sports betting. As we are under the family of the Gauselmann Group, we have experts in both fields. Our year will continue on a step-by-step progress, looking into the markets we already have and expanding into new ones.
How does the firm cope with the evolution of the players?
We can say that the evolution of the players in specific regard to manufacturers, such as ourselves, is directed by a desire for a more intense, more fulfilling gaming experience. That is the challenge that is given to us as producers and manufacturers of games; to make games that are more exciting, more entertaining, more interesting and to bring those games to the market to both tribal government gaming in the US and traditional commercial casinos in the US and around the world. Evolution not revolution with Merkur Gaming, the progress is step by step.
