(Malta).- SBC, the leading international gambling industry events organizer, has announced the launch of the inaugural SBC Awards Latinoamérica, which will take place in Miami on 28 October 2021.
The awards, which form part of the two-day SBC Summit Latinoamérica conference and trade show, are designed to celebrate and reward excellence in the sports betting, casino, lottery, and bingo sectors.
SBC's awards ceremonies are renowned as occasions that combine lavish hospitality with high-level networking opportunities, and the 600 guests at the SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2021 can look forward to a memorable evening.
Any operator, affiliate or supplier working in Latin American markets is eligible to take part in the 29 awards categories, with the nomination period running from now until 6 August 2021. The shortlists and winners will be decided by an independent panel of expert judges.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said: "The SBC Awards Latinoamérica are all about recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the companies setting the standards in the region's growing and rapidly-changing markets.
"From innovative local businesses to global players with the best localized product offerings, we'll be honoring the operators, marketers, and content, technology and payments suppliers who are driving the success of the industry in Latin America."
SBC Awards Latinoamérica is one of three industry awards shows that SBC has scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
It has also announced the first edition of the SBC Awards North America in New York City on 2 December. Taking place on the final day of the SBC Summit North America conference and trade show, the awards will celebrate the achievements of the fast-growing sports betting and igaming sectors in the region.
Operators, affiliates and suppliers working in the U.S. and Canada are eligible to enter the 26 categories. Nominations are open from now until 27 August 2021.
The final event is the eighth edition of the global SBC Awards show, which returns to Battersea Evolution in London on 14 December. It will see more than 800 guests enjoy sumptuous hospitality and great networking opportunities, at what will be the last big industry event of 2021.
The 43 categories are open to operators, affiliates and suppliers from any market worldwide, with the winners having to see off competition from the best of the best in the global betting and gaming sector to claim their prizes.
Nominations for the SBC Awards are open from now until 10 September, when the handpicked panel of independent judges will begin the shortlisting process.
