(London).- Organisers of EAG 2023 (10th – 12th January, ExCeL London) the industry’s leading amusements and low stake gaming show, have confirmed a seminar and learning programme comprising six free to attend streams.

Organisers confirm six strong seminar programme for EAG 2023

The programme, which has been put together by EAG organisers in partnership with UK trade association bacta, address a range of industry topics and issues including safer gambling, political engagement and social media as well as providing practical insights on how to reduce business costs. The two-day programme comprises:

Tuesday 10th January:

Pubs And Clubs Summit: Featuring thought leaders including Kate Nicholls OBE – CEO UKHospitality, the Summit is an opportunity for operators and venue owners to engage directly on the issues that bear directly on machine performance, from public policy to operational gains.

Safer Gambling: A ‘how to’ guide to improve customer engagement: Experts in the field of safer gambling will discuss the progress the industry has made in modernising its customer engagement and what steps can be taken to augment current practice to best in class.

How to use social media to drive footfall: Tom Flynn, Head of Digital at SEC Newgate will examine how a social media presence can help generate thousands in previously unseen revenue.

Wednesday 11th January:

Political Engagement: Experts including John White CEO bacta, Miles Baron CEO Bingo Association and public affairs specialist Chris White of SEC Newgate will discuss among other topics the implications for leisure operators of a Labour victory at the next general election.

Social Entertainment’s Amusement Opportunity:  Spider Entertainment’s Kevin Williams will cover the latest trend of ‘Competitive Socializing’ and its impact on the amusements and hospitality sectors.

Cutting Energy Bills: Specialists E2 Services will outline a series of steps to cut business energy bills and ultimately hit zero carbon.

EAG 2023 is on course to eclipse the physical size of the 2022 show with the latest figures confirming sold floor space is just 84sqm short of the total for 2022 - a month ahead of the doors opening at ExCeL London. EAG Show Director Nicola Lazenby is confident that the sold-out signs for EAG will be posted in the next month. She stated: “To get to this stage of the campaign cycle and have less than 100sqm of space to sell is a positive outcome. These statistics coupled with the 58 percent uptick in the number of operators registering to be part of the EAG experience augurs extremely well for January.”

Additional metrics show that 19 exhibitors have increased their stand space year-on-year with EAG 2023 featuring eight organisations which are new to the show.
