"Our focus for growth is in Mexico and the rest of LatAm", Alberto Alfieri, Co-Founder of Blokotech

(Mexico City, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Following their success at SiGMA North America—where they secured the Best Casino Platform 2026 award—Blokotech's co-founder discusses growth opportunities in Mexico and the broader region. He also highlights the platform's latest AI-driven innovations and outlines the next phases of the company's expansion strategy.
Speaking with SoloAzar, Blokotech Co-Founder Alberto Alfieri broke down the company's standout experience at SiGMA North America, a major hub that successfully bridged the North and Latin American gaming markets in Mexico City. "It was a very positive experience because we were able to reconnect with clients and partners, talk about how their businesses are evolving, and learn about new projects. For me, a large part of the value of these meetings lies in having those conversations in person, with more space to understand what each one needs and where we can contribute."
He then added: "We received the Best Casino Platform 2026 award, a recognition of the entire team's work and the evolution of our technology. It was one of the highlights of this edition for Blokotech.
"We also greatly valued the Mexico Padel Rally, where we were able to share time with industry people in a more relaxed atmosphere. That more personal contact helps build the trust upon which many professional relationships are later developed."
Strategic alliances, contacts, and specific needs
"The most interesting conversations were those that delved into specific needs: operators wanting to open another market, new casino and sportsbook projects, and content and technology integrations to expand an existing offering. We also spoke with potential partners with whom we can complement our proposal in the region," said Alfieri when asked about the commercial opportunities and conversations that arose during SIGMA North America.
"Having been on the operator side heavily influences how we approach those conversations. We know that behind a technical request there is usually a commercial need, a cost, or an opportunity that depends on arriving on time, and we try to understand that before talking about functionalities.
"We saw interest in flexible and quick-to-implement solutions, but also in having a provider who understands the particularities of each operation. That is where our experience can make a difference," he added.
Commercial opportunities and solutions focused on operator needs
What potential do you currently see in Mexico and the region, and what role does it play within Blokotech's growth strategy?
"Mexico interests us because of its market size and the opportunities to work with operators who want to continue developing their product. Its position as a meeting point between North America and Latin America adds value, although for us it makes sense as a market in itself.
"At Blokotech, we already work with operators from different Latin American countries, and that experience has directly influenced how we have developed the platform. The payment, integration, and management needs we encountered in operations have forced us to build an adaptable technology.
At the same time, working in several countries teaches you that knowing the region does not automatically mean knowing every market. Mexico requires understanding its commercial and regulatory context, the preferences of its players, and the needs of its operators. Our strategy is to leverage the experience we already have and combine it with that local knowledge," stated Alfieri.
The Bloko platform and AI personalization
"We shared the evolution of our Bloko platform and its accompanying solutions in casino, game aggregation, sportsbook, and payments, along with different launch models. The idea is that the operator can configure the proposal they need and continue incorporating content, providers, and functionalities as their business evolves," he comments when asked about the new features presented at SIGMA North America.
"We also presented the advancements of Bloko AI, focused on improving navigation and game discovery within the casino. When you have a vast catalog, helping the player find relevant content becomes an important part of the product. We are working on a more personalized experience that facilitates that discovery and provides more utility to the available content."
Regarding the platform's evolution, he added: "That is the type of AI application that interests me: solving a specific need and being able to evaluate if the experience improves. All of this accompanied by a team that understands the operation and can work with the client on implementation and integrations."
Blokotech: Expansion in LatAm, AI innovation, and local payments
Alfieri outlined the company's next steps in North America and Latin America: "The immediate thing is to advance with the open conversations in Mexico City and define with each potential client or partner what we can develop together, what integrations are needed, and what the deadlines would be. In this stage, our focus for growth is in Mexico and the rest of Latin America, with special attention also to Peru, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina."
"In terms of product, we are closely following AI personalization and the integration of local payment solutions, because both directly influence how the player uses the platform and the operator's ability to adapt their offering.
"My priority is that commercial growth is accompanied by execution capability. Each new client needs time, integrations, and support, and we want to continue expanding our presence while maintaining closeness and responsiveness. That requires planning growth well and fulfilling what we agreed upon," he concluded.
