Payphone debut at GAT Expo Cartagena
It was the first time for Payphone at GAT Expo Cartagena, and Paola Murillo, Business Development Manager of the firm, attended the international event. “We expected a predominance of Colombian businesses, but we are surprised by the participation of various countries, which confirms the regional importance of the show,” she explained.
Interaction with authorities and strenghtening of the sector
For Murillo, contact with regulators is key for an expansion strategy. "As a payment processor of localized countries in Ecuador, but with a strong presence in Central America, we can understand the situation of each country and contribute to the development of the industry. Expansion on the GAT Expo circuit: Next Steps
Payphone is committed to regional integration and market transformation. Murillo confirmed her interest in participating in future GAT Expo events, with a special focus on Santo Domingo. “Our presence in Central America is solid, and the Caribbean represents a great opportunity to replicate our expansion model.
