(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The Peru Gaming Show opened its doors with a strong turnout, highlighting the presence of authorities, suppliers, and visitors from across Latin America. The trade event combined conferences, exhibitions, and celebrations, consolidating itself as one of the most important events in the region.

An opening with official presence 

Yesterday morning, the Peru Gaming Show conference cycle began, addressing key topics for the industry. The Vice Minister of Tourism, MINCETUR, Nancy Aracelly Laca Ramos, performed the inaugural ribbon cutting and welcomed participants.

Conferences and international participation

The conferences and talks, which are a key part of the event, followed the scheduled program, attracting a large audience, with strong attendance even though some major firms were not present. The show brought together suppliers and visitors from different countries, mainly from Latin America, reinforcing its international character and relevance for the gaming industry, particularly through its conferences.

Networking and celebration

In the evening, the trade show's organizer hosted an opening party that brought together exhibitors and attendees in a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for strengthening ties and generating new business opportunities. PGS remained lively and active throughout the day, even in a context where some parallel events were held.

Final day of activities 

Today marks the closing of the conference cycle and the end of the fair, featuring a packed agenda of conferences that promises to keep participants engaged.

Conferences scheduled for today

10:00 – 10:30: Gonzalo Rosell, President of the Association of Online Sports Betting and Related Activities (APADELA), will speak about the current situation of the gaming and sports betting industry in Peru after regulation.

10:30 – 11:00: José Luis Pérez, Director of the Organization and Registration Division of the General Directorate of Casino Games and Slot Machines at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), will discuss the rights and duties of authorization holders during inspections of land-based games.

11:00 – 11:30: Constante Traverso, lawyer and taxation specialist, will address the balance and main challenges of 25 years of the first regulation of traditional games in Peru.

Later, two panels will take place:

11:45: Fighting against illegal gaming in online games.

12:35: Payment methods as elements of security and operational efficiency. Are payment systems ready for the World Cup 2026?
