PGS 2021 postpones the date for December

(Lima).- After having held conversations with government authorities, exhibitors, suppliers, operators and personalities linked to the gaming sector, AMG SAC, organizer of the PERU GAMING SHOW - PGS fair, has decided to postpone the date of the show, scheduled for the August 25 and 26, setting the new date for December 1 and 2.
“The determining factors for making this decision have to do, firstly, with the evolution of vaccines against Covid 19, whose application in Peru has not reached the number of doses necessary to guarantee the concentration of a significant number of people at an event like the one we are used to at a PGS fair. Second, it is the political instability generated by the recent assumption of power of a new government. On the other hand, the possibility of a third wave of Covid 19 with the Delta variant, which could occur between August and September, is an event that would put the normal development of the event at risk. AMG SAC in all editions of PGS has taken the utmost care in details to guarantee an excellent presentation for the benefit of exhibitors, operators and visitors. For all this, the change of date is very timely and will guarantee a first-class sample as is customary,” said the organizers.
This is why they consider that “December 1 and 2 will be dates for a better and freer articulation between industry players, taking into account that due to the vaccination levels in that period, we must be in an environment defined as herd immunity. Similarly, for those dates, the policies and decisions of the government will have a defined horizon that guarantees the economic and social stability of the country. Within this context, we want to thank all the players in the sector, for the show of support and trust in PGS, the most anticipated fair in Latin America, which returns with all its splendor to bring together the bidders, applicants and the public under the same roof. in general for the great reunion and enjoy a beautiful Gaming party.
