The healthy and responsible debate and discussion regarding Law 31557, approved in August 2022, on remote games and remote sports, has generated great expectations about what the Peruvian market will mean.
Let us remember that Law No. 27153 that regulates the exploitation of casino games and slot machines was approved in July 1999 and was considered an example to be followed by other jurisdictions.
After the regulation of the law on distance games and sports betting is approved, the same one that is in process and in the hands of government commissions, Peru is consecrated as a fully regulated market that opens extraordinary opportunities for those who wish to enter operate in an environment where there will be security, transparency and clarity. Thank you all very much for the great reception”.
