PGS organizers satisfied with the result of the 2019 edition

“The public is interested in online gaming and sportsbooks. We had several exhibitors and speakers in our congress, and, besides, all the slot products have different issues: innovation, technology, and all of it is integrated, so it was very good,” said Joe López , when talking about the highlights of the recent edition.

“We are very happy with the results. There were 75 exhibitors. There was much public, even more than last year, and more exhibition space, too (around 8,400 sqm), while in 2018 we had 7,000 sqm in exhibition space, so it has grown a lot,” he added.

Regarding his vision about the gaming market, he commented the following: “Traditional slots and casinos are still OK, but, with the new technologies and the new product releases, operators have to change and improve their products constantly. We expect the new online gaming and sportsbooks law to be approved, which will open a billionaire market.”

Finally, he commented about the public feedback: “Everyone commented how beautiful the show looked like this year, a wider space; they commented how nice the booths were. Exhibitors were also very happy about the traffic volume, as well as public. There were many Latin American visitors, and people from Asia and Europe came, too.”

The 2020 PGS edition has already confirmed its dates: June 17-18.
