The Ibero-American Gaming Summit has chosen Puerto Rico as the venue for the 8th edition of this international event. The Gaming Commission of the Government of Puerto Rico will host this forum as institutional host, which will be held on May 14 and 15 in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rican administration is among the countries that has legislated online gambling in recent years, to benefit users, open the market to the world of online betting and be more competitive. The pandemic has been an enormous test for the productive fabric of the economy, also in the gaming industry where in many countries it is linked to the tourism sector. An event of these characteristics will surely contribute to promoting advances in the industry through regulation that covers the new modalities of gaming and chance that currently exist. It is not in vain that Puerto Rico has the dollar as its currency, an admirable geographical position, a banking system and regulations that aim to attract foreign investors who are in search of new horizons and safe markets.
