(Sofia).- Rossi McKee, owner of the majority shareholder of Telematic Interactive, took the stage at the iGaming Business Zone conference in Ibiza with an insightful presentation on player protection.
As a featured speaker on the panel “Personal Limits, Shared Responsibility: Rethinking Player Self-Exclusion,” McKee delivered a compelling call for the industry to embrace modern, proactive, and personalized approaches to responsible gaming.
“We must move beyond reactive measures and outdated tools. Responsible gaming is not about restriction—it’s about empowerment and sustainability. It’s time for the industry to act along with the regulatory bodies in different jurisdictions to create a better environment and a personal technology-driven assistant for customised player protection by using AI as well,” McKee stated.
Drawing on real-world examples from Bulgaria’s regulatory evolution and Telematic Interactive’s experience in implementing behavioral monitoring, cooling-off periods, and personalized limits, McKee outlined a player-centric vision for the future.
Her remarks underscored the need for industry-wide cooperation in adopting AI-powered predictive systems, shared exclusion registers, biometric detection, and emotionally engaging onboarding processes that support players from day one.
The iGaming Business Zone, a premier gathering of global gaming experts, served as the perfect platform for McKee to share her insights and reaffirm Telematic Interactive’s position as a responsible company in the European gaming landscape.
