Rubén Solórzano reflects on his experience at ICE Barcelona and the prospects for Peru Gaming Show 2025

Barcelona as the new venue for ICE 2025
“ICE, based in Barcelona, has opened a new route for the gaming world, it has fostered the integration of Europe and Latam for the benefit of the industry and the gaming players, after the processes that existed in the previous edition were de-bureaucratized. There were benefits in terms of logistics, transportation, hotels, and something very important, a city put at the service of an event that influenced its commercial and tourism dynamics,” said Solórzano.

Networking opportunities for PGS at ICE 2025
“The event organization was very concerned about meeting the needs of exhibitors and visitors. It was observed that the distribution of the pavilions was adjusted to the characteristics of the products, that is, slot machines, online games, sports betting, platform and game developers, payment methods, and media were grouped together to facilitate their location on a very large floor,” said Solórzano when asked about ICE 2025. “In general terms, the organization was very good and the networking was spectacular because it was a great opportunity to meet again and meet new contacts that allowed us to close deals and have many agreements on the agenda,” he added.

Peru Gaming Show business connections at ICE
“ICE Barcelona facilitated the fulfillment of the objectives we had set ourselves. The wide range of alternatives in brands and technological developers made us transfer the opportunities that exist today in the Latam market, considered by critics as the one with the greatest potential. This market will provide many opportunities to achieve expansion and growth in business and investments,” said Solórzano.

“In this sense, the PGS 2025 fair that will take place on June 18 and 19, in Lima – Peru, is the unique opportunity to explore markets in Latin America, it is an extraordinary showcase to see everything new for this region, exhibitors of products and services of the most emblematic brands will be present at this great show with many cutting-edge innovations.”

New business opportunities for PGS
When asked about new trends, Solórzano says the following: “At an event like ICE, opportunities and new trends are always present, operators from all over the world look for new things to improve service to their customers, demanding players who, in order to gain their loyalty, need to be given new entertainment options.”

Finally, Solórzano highlights: “For me and my partner Joe López, with whom I attended the fair event, it was a great opportunity to join that great critical mass of suppliers and demanders in the industry. Due to the size of the exhibition venue, we probably missed out on making many more contacts, but those we had the opportunity to talk to gave us great satisfaction and positive results with a view to the PGS 2025 fair in Lima, Peru. I take this opportunity to invite all gaming players and industry companies to the PERU GAMING SHOW – PGS.”
