(Lisbon, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During the first edition of SBC Summit Lisbon, Pay4Fun, a leading company in payment solutions for the gaming industry in Latin America, took the opportunity to highlight its brand and establish new contacts in the global market, as well as expand its network and increase its international visibility.

Leonardo Baptista, CEO and co-founder of Pay4Fun, gave us his vision and opinion during this interview about the company's participation in the SBC Summit Lisbon, where it not only consolidated its international presence, but also reaffirmed its commitment to technological innovation and its ability to adapt to the demands of the global market.
Positive balance: expectations, organisation and networking
Regarding his experience at this first edition of the SBC Summit Lisbon, Leonardo told us that it was very satisfactory for the firm. He considered that the event ‘provided an excellent platform to showcase our products and interact with a diverse audience’. The quality of the visitors and the organisation of the event exceeded the company's expectations, which were high before the start of the fair, due to its international profile: ‘We expected to find new partners and expand our network, as well as strengthen the visibility of our brand, and we have achieved this significantly,’ Baptista said.
Another key point for Pay4Fun was the networking, which the CEO highlighted as ‘one of the highlights of the event’. He added: ‘We had the opportunity to talk to various industry stakeholders, which opened doors for future collaborations. The atmosphere facilitated the exchange of ideas and allowed us to build valuable relationships with other exhibitors and visitors."

Innovation and technology in the products presented
Speaking about the most outstanding product that Pay4Fun presented at the fair, Baptista underlined that Pay4Fun GO was the centre of attention. ‘The product that stood out the most was Pay4Fun GO, our fully customisable payment gateway for gaming platforms, which complies with all Brazilian regulations.’ This product, according to Leonardo, aroused great interest in the audience due to its security and ease of use, making it an ideal solution for companies looking for efficient payment methods adapted to the local market. ‘Many companies expressed interest in exploring new methods of integration with this solution, given its innovation and efficiency,’ he added.
Regarding the public's response to Pay4Fun's products, Leonardo said, ‘It was very positive. The company's stand received a steady flow of interested visitors, and many were enthusiastic about our products. This direct interaction with attendees not only strengthened the brand's visibility, but also provided ‘important feedback that will help us improve our offering’, and received ‘several enquiries about possible collaborations’.
AI and new technologies in Pay4Fun's future
Pay4Fun's commitment to innovation is clear, and artificial intelligence plays a key role in its evolution. Leonardo emphasised that ‘Artificial Intelligence allows us to offer more secure, efficient and personalised solutions for users’. He says the company uses these tools to develop more secure, efficient and personalised solutions, which translates into a better experience for everyone: ‘AI, for example, can help with data analysis, improve the customer experience and offer personalised recommendations. Leonardo adds that the firm is always looking for innovation to stay at the forefront of the industry and offer the best user experience.
Influence of gambling regulation in Portugal
Regarding the question on the influence of Portuguese gaming regulation on his decision to participate in this event, Lenoardo Baptista pointed out that it was a key factor in the decision to participate in SBC Summit Lisbon underlining that: ‘a transparent environment not only fosters investor confidence, but also creates opportunities to discuss best practices and innovations in the sector. ’
He added that it allowed them to engage in fruitful dialogues and raise the visibility of the Brazilian market: ‘For Pay4Fun, which operates in full compliance with current regulations in Brazil, it is essential to participate in events like this, which allow us to exchange experiences and reinforce our approach to operate with transparency and accountability. We believe that knowledge sharing and strengthening international partnerships are fundamental to the sustainable development of the gaming market, especially given Brazil's potential as it moves forward with its own regulation.’
Market growth in Portugal compared to Latin America
The growth of the gaming market in Portugal and Europe was also an important point during the interview. Baptista explained that ‘the gambling market in Portugal and Europe has seen exponential growth’, driven by clearer and more favourable regulation. He adds that ‘compared to other regions, such as Latin America, which is still developing, Europe stands out for its maturity and consumer confidence. Technological advances and the growing acceptance of online gaming have contributed to the continued expansion of this market.’
Key trends for the future of the gaming industry
When asked about the most important trends that will define the future of the industry, Leonardo Baptista noted that ‘Regulation of this market will be essential to create a safer and more reliable environment for sports betting, attract new investors and protect consumers.’
Baptista went on to highlight the importance of responsible gambling, a trend that will become more prominent in the coming years. ‘Companies will increasingly focus on promoting responsible gambling, treating betting as a form of entertainment and not a source of extra revenue,’ he said.
This vision reinforces Pay4Fun's commitment to operating ethically and in line with the industry's values of safety and responsibility.
