SBC Webinars presents TrueLayer – Transforming Your Payments Strategy With Open Banking

The session will see TrueLayer’s team joined by payments specialists from GVC and Paddy Power Betfair to outline the potential offered by open banking for betting and gaming operators, as they tackle the twin challenges of increasing competition and tighter regulation. 

Among the issues the experts will examine is how open banking can help to transform player payment and onboarding provision, and support operators’ responsible gambling initiatives.

The discussion will build on new research from YouGov and TrueLayer, which found that payment experience is a key driver for players, both when selecting a new provider and choosing where to allocate deposits. 

The webinar’s audience will learn some of the ways in which open banking standards and open APIs present an opportunity to differentiate those payment and onboarding experiences, and drive customer loyalty.

Another key topic that the panel will focus on is the evolving regulatory landscape in Europe and how the changes are affecting operators’ payments provision. Experts from two of the world’s largest gambling companies will share their experiences and outline the biggest challenges and opportunities ahead.
