SBEA+ 2022 – Day Two Recap

Attendees were in high spirits as they networked over a delicious lunch, followed by valuable panel discussions lead by industry visionaries. Jesse Ndambala the Tanzania Country Consultant at Ocean Gaming Consult moderated a particularly noteworthy panel discussion in which industry leaders shared their valuable insights on a localised approach for building the ideal gaming platform for the East African market. 

The 7th Annual Sports Betting East Africa+ Summit concluded with networking drinks and the prestigious SBEA+ Eventus Awards ceremony. The awards included numerous categories: the Virtual Platform Provider Award 2022, won by Global Bet, the Sports Betting Provider Award 2022, awarded to SPORTRADAR, the Sports Betting Operator Award 2022, won by ODIBETS, the Industry Influencer Award 2022, awarded to Jimmy Keneth, Chairman at Tanzania Sports Betting Association, the Online Casino Provider Award 2022, which went to BETCONSTRUCT, the Outstanding Woman Award 2022, won by Zeena Rossouw, Vice President of Operations & Sales at BMM Testlabs, and the Outstanding Speaker Award, which was awarded to Solomon Godwin the Senior Business Development Manager, Africa at Pragmatic Play. 

Eventus International looks forward to hosting the 8th edition of SBEA+ from 13-14 July 2023 in Kampala, Uganda.
