(Lagos).- The 7th Annual Sports Betting West Africa+ Summit kicked off as excited attendees and distinguished speakers arrived at the five-star Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in Lagos, Nigeria. The hotel reception was buzzing as gaming industry leaders networked and discussed what the day has in store over their morning coffee.
After a warm welcoming address from Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director of Eventus International, the organisers of the event, the floor was opened by the chairperson of the Summit, 'Tope Oni, Chief Innovations Officer of Group8 Limited, who started the day with a few opening remarks.
Day one continued to entice attendees with many insightful panel discussions and presentations led by high-profile industry executives. Attendees were particularly excited about the keynote address by Dr Rabiu Olowo, the Honourable Commissioner of Finance of the Lagos State Government, who dived deep into the profitability of investment opportunities in Lagos State.

After an eventful day of learning from the best and brightest minds in the West African gaming industry, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet old and new peers over networking drinks sponsored by EI Networking.
Frank Herold, Business Development Director of EMIRAT AG congratulated Eventus International on reuniting the West African gaming industry and commented, “The energy and passion of the audience is amazing.
