Sielcon´s presence at G2E 2023 in Las Vegas was mostly to connect with suppliers and customers

(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- From October 9 to 12th, G2E 2023 took place at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Daniel P. Placeres, General Manager at Sielcon, in dialogue with SoloAzar, pointed out the excellent results of this international show for the company, and told us about the goals during this year of the Sielcon, as an argentinian company, despite the local restrictions: “As an Argentinian company with more than a quarter of a century of life, it has gone through all the local restrictions of these last months, and continues with its expansion throughout Latin America”, stated Mr. Placeres.
What do you consider to be the highlights of this G2E edition?
Having attended the last 3 G2E events, I have the pleasant impression that the restrictions and fears of the pandemic have been left behind for the good of all. Attendance was very smooth over the 3 days of the event, looking more closely at the technologies of the major manufacturers, both American and European in general as two major groups. The themes of the games all seem to be very similar, today the slot industry seems more oriented, in the case of cabinets, to just creating machines with giant monitors; but if we look closely beyond the bright lights, the industry is still implementing new bonus and progressive modes. It is also a bit nostalgic to see how some companies have recreated mechanical reel slot games from the late 90's on new platforms by emulating the old led matrix odometers or mechanical wheels and nowadays they have been enhanced into slots with very realistic video animations.

Can you tell us about the firm's presence in the USA?
Our presence in the USA is mostly related to the search for new suppliers of parts and technology to apply in the coming years. We have been able to contact new suppliers from various sectors of the industry, as well as visit the laboratories that provide us with game and system certification services.
This G2E 2023 edition also proved to be a good opportunity to attend conferences and network with our Latin American customers, who are also visiting the exhibition and share experiences with all of them.
Could you give a summary of the company's achievements this year?
Sielcon, as an Argentinian company with more than a quarter of a century of life, has gone through all the local restrictions of these last months, and continues with its expansion throughout Latin America, investing heavily in the development of the new online control system that will replace Sol2000 at the end of 2023, being the new generation of systems more efficient in the use of resources and using more modern methods of communication.
In relation to the participation in the slots sales quota, we have had a very good year with our product Ruleta Extreme Crupier installed in groups of machines in 7 locations distributed in Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Mendoza and Paraguay, being this equipment of excellent profitability for its operators.
