SPiCE India 2022 – Day One Recap

(Goa).- After two years, excitement for the third 3rd edition of the legendary Annual SPiCE India 2022 erupted at the Marriott Hotel in Goa, India.
Day one welcomed over 150 attendees from around the globe, eager to return to the leading gaming conference of the year.

Aatur Thakkar, Co-founder and director, Alliance Insurance Brokers, expressed,

After speakers and panelists brought the heat in the conference hall on a warm day in Goa, the SPiCE India 2022 attendees were delighted to attend the open-air seaside SPiCE breaker pre-event party to break the ice at a thrilling three-day long summit.

Regulation and the Black Market in Latin America: Challenges and Solutions

The panel "Regulation and the Black Market: Challenges and Solutions" brought together Carlos Fonseca, CEO of Gaming Law, as moderator; Neil Montgomery, founding partner of Montgomery & Associados; Tatiana Vásquez, founding partner of Vázquez Asociados; Karen Sierra Hughes, Vice President for Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain at GLI; and Vanessa Cabrera, Director of the Control and Sanction Directorate of the DGJCMT-MINCETUR, who debated the causes of the black market, the available regulatory tools, and strategies to strengthen channeling toward legal gaming in the region.
