GAT EXPO Cartagena: Exclusive Exhibitions and Networking
GAT EXPO Cartagena got off to a successful start with perfect attendance from speakers, companies, and the public in general, both at the conferences and at the networking event held yesterday, highlighting the importance of this trade show within the sector in Latin America.

With thoughtful analysis supported by figures, the GAT 2025 Academy, now a summit for all verticals of the industry, allowed 300 in-person attendees and a captive audience via streaming platforms to learn about the current situation, trends, challenges, and opportunities of this dynamic sector of the Latin American economy.

The GAT Expo Cartagena 2025 academic session consolidated its position as the leading space for analysis and updating of technology and entertainment in the region. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Las Américas Convention Center hosted a packed agenda of conferences and panels led by 40 national and international experts.

Coljuegos President Marco Emilio Hincapié highlighted the positive current situation of the gaming industry in Colombia,  citing figures and data that support its growth.

Meanwhile, Fecoljuegos, one of the Colombian gaming associations, opened the agenda with Evert Montero Cárdenas and Juan Manuel Ramírez, who, based on a study by a prestigious university, presented an in-depth analysis of the impact of the recent tax measures implemented by the Colombian government on online gambling, a highly controversial topic in recent months.
