(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Matej Sopóci, Synot Chief¨Product Officer, was interviewed by SoloAzar within its participation at the latest SIGMA show. He made an evaluation of 2019 and talked about the goals for 2020, among other issues.

Synot aims to expand its game portfolio across new world markets

What have you presented at the latest SIGMA show?
We are a team of iGaming enthusiasts, constantly keeping in touch with innovation and striving for perfection. We came to exhibition like SiGMA to present our games and increase the brand awareness of our company. The exhibition was well organized, we didn´t encounter any problems during those three days. Most importantly however, we managed to achieve our goal for this show. SiGMA is very business oriented and so it is the platform to create new business opportunities. We cemented relationships with our existing clients and for the first time we presented our product also on land based machines, which generated great interest. This not only strengthened our position on the market but also showed our clients that we are the right company to partner with.

How important is it for the company to participate in a show like this?
These exhibitions are mainly about face to face meetings with business partners because you can make more of an impression personally, than through emails and phones. Several years back, when our brand wasn’t so well-known, we went to our partners alone and offered them our services from stand to stand. Today, our potential partners already know the SYNOT brand and perceive us as an innovative gaming content supplier. Exhibitions like SiGMA are a great facilitator of these efforts.

How do you evaluate 2019 for the company?
Our developers kept busy all throughout 2019, they created 25 successful games, which are now available in a number of world-class casinos. We managed to expand to new markets such as Italy, Sweden, Spain and many more. Players simply fell in love with our games, so we evaluate last year as a very positive for our company.

What are the firm goals for 2020?
We want to continually expand our game portfolio across new world markets and bring the best quality games with unique features. Our next goals will also include strengthening the position in the markets we already operate.

How do you see the evolution of the player? Does your firm accompany it?
Many players want to play video slot games in the comfort of their home rather than in the casinos. In the beginning they were mainly used through desktop versions, but in nowadays is much more prevalent playing on mobile devices. That's the reason why we also invest in the game development for devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
