“The best ICE for EGT as a group”, Alexander Botov, EGT Digital

(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- EGT Digital made it successful first appearance at ICE London, from 7 to 9 of February. Mr. Alexander Botov, Ceo at EGT Digital granted an interview with SoloAzar where he talked about the highlighted novelties presented at the event, being the subsidiary of EGT: the X-Nave platform, the online casino portfolio games, among other products. He also mentioned the future goals of the firm as well as the next shows they are going to be participating during the year. It resulted a very enrichment interview.

What were the expectations, goals and experience at this ICE edition, since it was the first time there?

That’s right, this year EGT Digital made its debut at ICE. I dare to say that we were well prepared for it, because during the past 2 years we have attended all the major trade shows in the industry. However, we were very excited to be in London as it is the biggest and most important event in the world and the feeling of being there is just incomparable. We believe that we joined at the right time: this was a record-breaking edition of the exhibition with the most attendance ever, the interest in our stand and products throughout the three days was overwhelming and went far beyond our expectations. We would conclude that this was the best ICЕ for EGT as a group.

Which novelties were showcased by EGT Digital?

Among the main highlights in the product selection for the show was our in-house developed betting platform X-Nave, which is enriched with many new functionalities. The latest hot news about it is that it is now available both as turnkey solution or as a separate product. This means that our customers are enabled to build their own solution, tailored according to their needs, cost requirements and the regulations on the market where they operate.  Now our clients can decide whether they would want our in-house sportsbook or take advantage of the casino aggregator or our payment gateway, which is our latest solution, or just to bet on the complete solution. Our self-service betting terminal (SSBT) was also at display at the expo along with the omnichannel spostbook add-on. 

The visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted also with the latest online casino games of EGT Digital’s portfolio, some of which were presented for the very first time at ICE. In addition to the Bell Link progressive jackpot, which has already ranked among the most preferred products by players in many markets, we showcased the titles of High Cash Series and the latest jackpot product Clover Chance. Being one of the most recently launched games of ours, Sugartime quickly became the superstar at the show and visitors' favorite game. The guests at the stand enjoyed our wide range of instant games as well, which stand out with original in-house design, classic rules and smooth gameplay.

How was the visitors feedback like? 

I am proud to say that the visitors were very happy with everything we presented to them: the X - Nave platform, the rich variety of online slot and instant games, our stand, which impress them with a fascinating contemporary design.

In which markets is your company currently present?

EGT Digital is currently represented in more than 40 countries around the world. As a subsidiary of EGT, the sales managers of the local offices are responsible for distribution of all online solutions that are offered under EGT’s brand.

How do you see the European market at the moment?

There has been significant growth in online gaming on a worldwide level since the pandemic. Traditionally, EGT has a strong presence in Europe, which helped us a lot especially when we started, it continues to be a strong argument in favor of our company even now. We believe that EGT Digital’s online games are the right solution for any online betting site and the fact that they are gaining more and more popularity among operators and players is an eloquent testimony. In addition, the market for software solutions is extremely dynamic, and we believe that thanks to the flexibility and modern infrastructure that we have used to build our in-house platform X-Nave, we will acquire market share very quickly.

What is your opinion regarding the change of location of ICE expo for 2025 and in which of the 4 cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and London) would you like this show to be held?

Undeniably, London already has a tradition of being the location where the biggest event in the gaming industry takes place. On the other hand, maybe we should give another place a chance to host ICE, and maybe I'd give my preference to Spain and Barcelona in particular.

Can you tell us the goals and plans for this year and in which countries would you like to expand or grow?

We are planning to keep on enriching EGT Digital’s portfolio of games, aiming to have at least 100 titles ready by the end of the year. We are mainly focused on markets where EGT traditionally has a strong presence such as the Balkans and Europe as a whole. Latin America is another region of great interest to us because the local players are already familiar with our games from the land-based casinos, where they are among the most successful products. We are also striving to enter new markets such as Africa, etc. 

Regarding our in-house developed platform X-Nave, definitely the diversification of its core products – CRM, Sport, Gaming, and Payment Gateway, will help us meet the needs of many more customers in different markets. Each one of them covers a wide range of management tools and can be used either as part of the turnkey solution or separately as they allow integration with other platforms. Last but not least, it is very important to mention our sports SSBT. The hardware is inspired by EGT’s 20 years of experience in the land-based casino industry and comes with the exclusive sport product omnichannel add-on from EGT Digital.

Which other trade shows are you going to participate in this year?

We are going to participate in a number of exhibitions in 2023. The next one is Irish Gaming Show in the beginning of March and at the end of the month we are going to present our products at GAT Gaming & Technology Expo in Cartagena.
