(Santo Domingo).- The gaming industry gathers in Santo Domingo, within GAT Gaming & Technology ShowCase. This event, supported by the Ibero-American Lottery Corporation, is a crucial meeting point for the actors of the sector, who seek to advance with the regulation and development of gambling in the region.

The activity takes place at the Renaissance Jaragua hotel, and has the support of important sponsors such as Pragmatic Play, Betconstruct, Raza Carrera, Aristocrat, Altenar and Juancito Sport. Also, prominent exhibitors such as Betconstruct, IGC, IGT, ASOCOL, DS Virtual, KIRON, Digitain, MOBADOO and Golden Race are presenting their innovations.

The event was attended by personalities such as Claudia Troncoso, Director of Casino and Gambling of the Ministry of Finance, Derby los Santos, Vice Minister of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance; José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT and Yamile Gutiérrez, Coordinator of GAT Dominican Republic, who underlined the institutional relevance of the event. These leaders are committed to the creation of a solid regulatory framework that guarantees a safe and transparent environment in the field of gaming.

We also had the participation of the ombudsman Pablo Ulloa, who addressed the topic “Childhood Gambling Addiction and the Role of the State: A Responsible Approach to the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the World of Gaming.” a fundamental topic in the Responsible Gaming policy that the State and operators must address to protect the mental health of children and adolescents.



GAT Santo Domingo Academy has sessions on the control of money laundering and the legality of lotteries. These topics are crucial to ensure that the sector operates within a clear and effective legal framework.

The exhibition stands offer a platform for attendees to learn about the latest technologies and equipment for casinos, as well as new online gaming and lottery platforms. This interaction between manufacturers and operators is essential to drive innovation and improve the user experience.

More than 300 delegates from 11 nationalities have confirmed their attendance at the GAT Showcase Santo Domingo, representing operators, manufacturers, suppliers and visitors from both Dominican and multinational companies.
