(City of Buenos Aires).- Last April 19th, at the Hilton Buenos Aires hotel, the 31st edition of SAGSE Latam, the most important gaming industry fair in Latin America, was inaugurated and the Lottery of Buenos Aires Province was present.
The president of the Institute, Omar Galdurralde, participated in the inauguration ribbon cutting after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday together with the vice president, María Laura García, and the executive secretary, Carlos Gallo.
This event, one of the most emblematic in the sector, was held for two consecutive days at the facilities of the Hilton hotel in Buenos Aires and was well attended. On this occasion, the access was more exclusive, aimed at guests, operators, regulators and top-level executives of the participating companies.
This year, SAGSE organizers opted for a format in which conferences, talks and round tables were a fundamental part of their proposal. To this end, more than 50 sessions were held, including the SAGSE X conferences, the new SAGSE Unlocked private chat format, and the SAGSE Acquisition cycle, exclusively aimed at the affiliate segment. In this context, the president of the Institute participated as a speaker in the presentation of the "Updated overview of regulations in Chile, Argentina and Brazil."
Galdurralde toured the fair and was very happy to participate in the event. “One more year, carrying out this important fair for all jurisdictions and for the industry in general, since it makes it possible to show the development of new technologies and share experiences. It is a very enriching event and we are very proud of participating in this show with ALEA as well,”, the president said.
The Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos had a 90 m2 stand and two led screens in which information from the organization was disseminated and the collections of the different business units were published with a count in real time.
The Provincial Director of Games and Operation, Omar Silva, was present at the booth, as well as the provincial director of Administration and Finance, María del Carmen Gonzalez; the games director Mónica Vicente; the Director of Systems, Santiago Cortabarría Acosta and the General Director of the BA Compulsive Gambling Prevention and Assistance Program, Mauro Guevara.

Guevara spoke at a special panel on Responsible Gaming and its importance in the gaming industry, as well as about the use and benefits of tools related to the theme and technologies applied to responsible gambling, among others.
The participation of the IPLyC in the SAGSE fairs is very important, not only because of the relevance of the event worldwide, but also to sustain and strengthen the official support of government agencies for actions related to the regulation and control of gambling. gambling, money laundering and the prevention of pathological gambling.
