(Las Vegas).- Affiliates in the United States play a key role in the online gambling ecosystem. Today, Tuesday 26th January at 16 GMT, it will be held a seminar called: "The role of affiliates in US online gambling," organized by IGB.

The role of affiliates in US online gambling, an IGB webinar to be held today

Americans are often either new to online gambling or familiar only with offshore betting brands, and affiliates provide much-needed education in what is an immature market.

Online sports betting has only started to proliferate in the past three years, while online casino is still confined to just a handful of jurisdictions. Affiliates help operators cut through the misinformation and establish the baseline of legal and regulated online betting.

This webinar will explain:

-Why affiliates are valuable to operators and the industry as it expands in the US.
-Why providing news and information will help spur the growth of sports betting and online gambling in the US.
- What should we expect for states to that had gaming pass on the ballot (South Dakota, Louisiana, Maryland, and Nebraska)?
- How will emerging jurisdictions like Virginia and other move forward?
- How much will sports betting and iGaming be influenced in those states that have not legalized yet.
- Under a Biden Administration, what changes will we see with the Wire Act and will we have a federal sports betting framework?
- What other advances will be pushed for expansion of gaming or technology in 2021 and beyond?
