(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Sebastián Salat, International President at Zitro, gave an interview to SoloAzar about the peformance of the firm during the Global Expo Gaming 2023 in Las Vegas, that took place from 9th to 12th October. He explained to us their highlighted products showcased at the tradeshow, and the company's future and goals.

How was your experience at G2E this year? 


This year's edition was the best attended G2E we have ever had in Zitro's history. The massive attendance at our booth is the logical consequence of our even more prominent leadership in Mexico, our increased deployment in international markets, both in Latin America and Europe, as well as our rapid growth in the North American market, where we are now present in thirteen jurisdictions, including California, Oklahoma, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Minnesota, Virginia, Ohio, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Kansas.

Zitro's remarkable growth has led us to increase our human and technical resources in all regions, particularly in the USA, where the expansion of the new Zitro USA office in Las Vegas coincided with the dates of G2E. These days in Las Vegas were also an opportunity for our global team to share experiences and ideas, and to align regional business strategies.

On the other hand, I must also say that we have received many compliments from our customers, not only for the products we have presented, but also for the way these products were presented. The way the stand was designed, the ambience, and the packaging of the machines, arranged as if they were installed in a first class casino, strongly conveyed the fantastic and attractive design of all the cabinets and games of Zitro's GLARE range of gaming machines.

2023 is definitely the year that Zitro has established itself as a must-see for any Las Vegas show attendee interested in learning about the industry's cutting-edge products.

What are Zitro's product highlights at G2E?

We presented the most extensive and diverse product line-up ever introduced to date for our GLARE cabinets. Among our wide range of games, Fu Frog and Fu Pots stand out, which incorporate, with the Zitro personality, market trends such as persistent play elements. Fu Frog and Fu Pots have already proven to be a hit with operators and players who have already tested them in various jurisdictions around the world. Lún Pán Dú, in the Altius cabinet, is a game that incorporates in its bonus a very popular element in the gaming world such as an American roulette wheel, with great playful content thanks not only to its game mechanics but also to the fun and attractive characters that accompany the various game sequences. To mention one last game I will mention Billy The Pig which brings together innovative mathematical models with agile game mechanics and offers exceptional graphics.

How do you work on innovations within the US market?

Great games tend to be successful across all regions, but it is true that games need to be adapted to the tastes of the player demographics in each market. Indeed, we take proven successful games and adapt them to the tastes of North American gamers, be it in terms of presentation, theme or functionality.

After the success of the firm's presentation at G2E, could you summarise the company's achievements this year?

During this year, we have consolidated our leadership position in Mexico, as well as in the vast majority of Latin American countries. In Europe, we are leaders in Spain, and we have made significant progress in each and every one of the European and Asian countries in which we operate. As I mentioned earlier, in less than a year we have expanded our presence to 13 jurisdictions in the highly competitive US market, and we have more than doubled Zitro Digital's business, positioning our company as a necessary supplier to digital casinos everywhere.

Finally, from an organisational standpoint, we have increased our teams and our presence on every continent in which we operate, and we have opened our new Technology Campus in India to accelerate and redouble our new product launches. All of this to support the spectacular growth that we at Zitro are committed to achieving.
