(Cyprus).- Uplatform has been shortlisted across several categories recognizing its marketing innovation, product development, and leadership, as the company prepares to attend the upcoming SiGMA Africa 2026 summit in Cape Town.
Uplatform has been shortlisted at the SiGMA Africa Awards 2026 in four categories: Best Marketing Campaign 2026, Best Online Sportsbook Provider 2026, Best Platform 2026, and Women in Gaming 2026, where the firm's Head of Marketing, Maria Bashkevich, has been nominated.
Uplatform has received several nominations ahead of the SiGMA Africa 2026 awards, reflecting the company’s work across marketing, product development, and leadership over the past year. The recognition highlights the coordinated efforts of multiple teams, including marketing, product, and operational staff who have contributed to the platform’s continued growth and innovation.
Among the nominations is Best Marketing Campaign, which acknowledges the initiative “Fresh Solutions for Juicy Profits,” originally created for SiGMA Central Europe in Rome. The concept began as a simple visual idea but evolved into an interactive stand experience that attracted visitors and boosted social media visibility. By combining engaging elements with a clear brand message, the campaign helped the company stand out during the exhibition.
The company has also been shortlisted for Best Online Sportsbook Provider 2026 and Best Platform 2026, recognizing progress made across its product ecosystem. The sportsbook solution offers extensive international sports and esports coverage, customizable event and market configurations, and hands-on trading management designed to support different operator strategies. This development is reinforced by an in-house trading team and ongoing product updates aimed at expanding coverage in line with regional demand.
At the same time, Uplatform’s casino offering has continued to grow through partnerships with a wide range of established providers. This approach allows operators to build tailored content portfolios based on audience preferences and local market conditions. Combined with the sportsbook vertical, the strategy supports stronger cross-product engagement and contributes to long-term player retention.
Another recognition comes through the Women in Gaming 2026 nomination for Maria Bashkevich, whose leadership has helped shape Uplatform’s marketing direction and international positioning. Her work spans campaign strategy, brand communication, and the coordination of global expo participation, ensuring that the company’s messaging remains aligned with broader business objectives.
To mark these nominations, Uplatform will attend SiGMA Africa 2026 as a delegate. Zak, Sales Team Lead, will represent the company on-site in Cape Town, where he plans to meet with operators exploring opportunities in African markets or seeking to expand their existing sportsbook and casino projects.
Discussions during the summit will focus on practical considerations such as launch structures, payment integration, early performance metrics, and long-term scaling strategies.
