⏱ 2 min read
(Valencia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Enrique Reyes, Tax Services Manager of Ceuta, held a conversation with SoloAzar within EXPOJOC show. "We are not a company, we are the administration of an autonomous city on the other side of the strait, and since 2018 we have been trying to attract companies to move their facilities to our city," he said.
“We have very large tax advantages compared to the rest of the national territory. On the other hand, also as an administration, we encourage implementation in Ceuta by granting aid, training staff, we believe that education is the main thing for the future and to date we are achieving more than satisfactory results, because we have more than 30 companies and 400 jobs. That is why we are here at this gaming show, trying to continue capturing companies and to provide logistical support to those companies that are in Ceuta and come to this event looking for a place where they can meet with their clients”, said Reyes.
When asked about the issue of online gambling in Ceuta, he said: “Online gambling is approved in Ceuta, as it is in Spain and the European Union. Ceuta is an autonomous community, but the tax regulations are those of the rest of Spain and the rest of the European Union”.
“There is a phrase that says that Ceuta is the ‘beautiful unknown’, however, I would say that it is a city that, whoever knows it, gets a very pleasant surprise. A western, modern city, welcoming, and probably unique in the world for the different cultures that coexist in it. We have a population of Muslim culture, we also have a population of Christian culture and another part belonging to the Hindu culture, and another part of Jewish culture. In addition, a small population of Chinese origin. In Ceuta we brag about the pleasant coexistence that we maintain among different cultures”, he concluded.
