(Bogota, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Oscar Giralt, Win Systems Corporate Marketing Manager, was interviewed by SoloAzar during the latest FADJA edition. “FADJA has become, by own merit, in one of the great references of the sector in Latin America,” he affirmed.
Which are the latest developments that the firm has exhibited in FADJA?
This year at FADJA we have presented our two new GameStar gaming machines. The first, the GameStar ST3, is the slant-top version of the successful GameStar S3. We also show for the first time in America the GameStar Rhapsody, a machine with an attractive and robust design designed for small classrooms or operations en route. To give the game more excitement we have the best Symbol Drive jackpot that we have developed so far, the fantastic Power Gong with 3 games and several levels of jackpot and bonus. We also showcased our mysterious Pyramid jackpot, which is achieving great results in the region.
We could not miss our Gold Club electronic roulettes, undoubtedly protagonists in the Colombian market over the past year. And of course our Wigos casino management system, with its powerful applications and tools such as Intellia, WinStats or WinUp. We are convinced that we can offer the best global gaming solutions for the Colombian market!
How have you seen the recent edition?
FADJA has become, on its own merits, one of the leading figures in the sector in Latin America, and this year is no exception. All the major operators and suppliers of the sector meet at the fair, and the impression is that we still receive more visitors than last year. Without a doubt, this is an unmissable event for Win Systems.
How has been the beginning of the year for the company and which are the goals for the rest of 2019?
Win Systems has started the year 2019 in the same way it ended the previous year: growing at an unstoppable pace. We are doubly satisfied since this growth comes from our three business divisions (Systems, Gaming and Lotteries), and from markets where we already have a very consolidated presence (Latin America) and from those new markets that we set as strategic and that we They are giving incredible results (United States and Canada, Europe, Asia ...).
How important is the company in this región and how is it developing?
Latin America is still our reference despite the strong growth we experience in other regions. Countries such as Mexico, Peru, Colombia or Caribbean countries are very important for Win Systems, also markets where we are betting very strong as Argentina or Chile. More specifically for the region of Colombia and Peru, one of the great advantages of Win Systems is to have the best distributors we could have for our Gaming division, which is leading us to exceed the objectives year after year.
Considering that Colombia is one of the first markets in legalizing online gaming in the region, How do you see the market and which are your future expectations?
Colombia is a tremendously dynamic market and a pioneer in the region in many aspects, such as the regulation and promotion of online gaming. In Win Systems we believe that the online game and the land-based will converge more and more, the player wants to be able to choose which platform prefers to play in each moment, so both are complementary. The more we are able to create synergies between online and land-based, the more the player will benefit and therefore the sector in general.
