Andres Troelsen: "Peru remains one of EGT Digital's strategic markets in LATAM"

Strengthening Relationships in a Strategic Market

What were your main objectives in attending the Peru Gaming Show, and to what extent do you feel you achieved them?

"Peru remains one of EGT Digital's strategic markets in LATAM, so one of our main priorities at PGS was to spend quality time with our existing customers and partners while continuing a number of ongoing commercial discussions. The event also gave us the opportunity to better understand how operators are approaching the second half of the year, including their investment priorities, product expectations and business plans.

We met with the majority of our customers, discussed current projects and future opportunities, and reinforced our long-term commitment to the Peru market. Overall, I believe we achieved exactly what we set out to do. Events like PGS continue to prove that while technology enables us to stay connected every day, nothing replaces face-to-face conversations when it comes to building long-term partnerships".

Operators Focus on Measurable Results

What aspects, new products, or proposals presented at the show did you find most interesting or relevant to your professional activity?

"One of the things that stood out most during the event was how practical the conversations have become. Rather than discussing broad industry trends, operators are increasingly focused on finding solutions that can deliver measurable business results, whether that's improving player engagement, strengthening retention, or offering more localized experiences.

I also noticed growing interest in content that has already demonstrated strong performance in regulated markets, as well as flexible solutions that allow operators to adapt quickly to changing player preferences.

For me, this reflects the continued evolution of the LATAM market. Operators know what they want, they have clear expectations, and they're looking for partners who understand their business and can support their long-term growth. That's a positive sign for the industry as a whole".

Strategic contacts, meetings and opportunities during the event

"One of the advantages of events like PGS is that many of the discussions don't start there – they continue there. Several of our meetings were follow-ups to conversations we have been having with customers and operators over the past months, making the event an ideal opportunity to move projects forward and explore the next steps together.

The exhibition also brought together executives from across Latin America, creating valuable opportunities to exchange perspectives on market developments and business priorities. These conversations help us better understand regional trends while strengthening relationships that can lead to future commercial opportunities".

Main conclusions of the event

"PGS reinforced that Peru continues to be one of the most mature and competitive gaming markets in the region. Operators remain focused on sustainable growth and are constantly looking for ways to improve their offering while responding to changing player expectations.

For us, one of the key takeaways is the importance of staying close to our partners and continuing to listen carefully to their needs. The feedback we received during the event will help shape our commercial priorities and product discussions over the coming months.

It also reinforced our confidence that EGT Digital is well positioned to continue growing in Peru with a portfolio that is delivering strong results and generating positive feedback from operators".
