Biser Bozhanov tells us everything about CT Gaming's 25th anniversary

CT Gaming turns 25 and on such a special date we decided to start the interview by reviewing the beginnings of the company. To which its Director Strategy & Business Development  Biser Bozhanov answers that “CT Gaming's activity began in the early 1990s, but officially the company was founded in 1999 under the name of Casino Technology. Following the passage of the Gambling Law, the company was the first to receive a manufacturer's license. The ambition was to establish CT Gaming as a leading casino equipment manufacturer focused on player demand. We aimed to revolutionize the gaming industry, develop innovative gaming products, establish a strong presence in key markets and build long-term relationships with our customers."

At this point, he highlighted the firm's main milestones: "the original Mega Jack was launched in the beginning of the century. It was the first multigame that mixes poker with video slot games, which turned out very successful and it still gains popularity till today. An important technological aspect was that this multigame was combined with a jackpot with fully random number generator, which was known in the United States, but was new to European markets.

He also recalled that “Later on, we came up with another technological breakthrough which was creating a slot machine with two start buttons, suitable for both left and right-handed players. The positive feedback from that innovation has been immersive and ever since this has been the only way we have been producing our machines”. 

Finally, he did not hesitate to mention that “In the early 2010s we launched our slot cabinet Arch featuring a curve monitor, which was among the first machines with such a display. During that period CT Gaming was still Casino Technology and was uniting land base and online gaming, which led us to create the BIG 5 concept – an omnichannel solution combining online platform, games, casino management system, jackpots and cash terminal. For that time this was a major breakthrough”.

Remarkably, the appeal of Mega Jack endures to this day, with customers continuing to gravitate towards its offerings. This sustained relevance prompted us to incorporate some of its most beloved games into our latest iteration of the Diamond King series”.

With the experience we have acquired in the last 25 years and the observations we have gathered we decided to develop a concept that unites some of our best games throughout the years with new popular titles and exciting jackpot features, enhanced with innovative and captivating visuals. We have been waiting for the perfect time to launch such a product and we believe that this year would be the perfect time”.

What are CT Gaming's plans for the future?

Our plans for the future include further investment in research and development, expansion into new markets, and the continued pursuit of excellence in everything we do.
