(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- In this interview with SoloAzar, Volodymyr Taftai, Country Director for Brazil at Atlaslive, shares his recap of ICE Barcelona 2026, highlighting high-level business opportunities, platform flexibility, Brazil’s regulatory momentum, and the industry’s transition toward scalability, personalization, and compliance-driven growth.
Atlaslive's Participation in ICE Barcelona 2026
"Our participation at ICE Barcelona 2026 was highly productive from a commercial standpoint. The exhibition gave us concentrated access to decision-makers, such as platform owners, regional operators, and technology partners, all in one place. That allowed us to move several conversations from early-stage introductions into concrete commercial and technical discussions within just a few days.
From a business perspective, the event helped us strengthen existing relationships and open new discussions across key markets, including LATAM and Europe. Beyond lead generation, ICE also provided useful insight into operator priorities and regulatory developments, helping us further align our product and delivery focus for 2026".

The quality of the audience and the profile of the contacts
"The quality of the audience at the event was notably high. We saw a strong presence of senior decision-makers, including C-level executives, product leads, and operations heads, which made conversations more focused and commercially relevant from the start. Instead of exploratory discussions, many meetings quickly moved into practical topics like platform capabilities, migration planning, and regional expansion.
In terms of contact profiles, we engaged with a healthy mix of established operators, emerging brands preparing for regulated markets, and technology partners looking to strengthen their ecosystems. For us, that balance is important; it means we’re not just building a pipeline, but also forming the strategic partnerships that support long-term growth across multiple regions".

products, solutions, or services at ICE Barcelona
"At the exhibition, we focused on presenting Atlaslive’s core iGaming platform, with particular emphasis on its flexibility for different operational models, from full Turnkey setups to modular integrations. We highlighted our capabilities around sportsbook and casino management, bonus and retention tools, and the ability to support operators across multiple regulated markets with localized configurations.
The strongest interest came from operators looking for greater control and adaptability at the platform level. Many conversations centered on migration scenarios, faster go-live timelines, and how to tailor player experiences without heavy development overhead. There was also a clear demand for solutions that help operators balance performance, compliance readiness, and commercial agility. These are the areas where our platform architecture resonated particularly well with visitors".

Trends or debates seen at ICE Barcelona 2026
"From what we saw at ICE Barcelona 2026, one of the clearest themes was the shift from aggressive expansion to operational maturity. Operators are now focused on making their existing markets more efficient, improving retention, tightening bonus strategies, and getting more value from their player data rather than just adding new geographies. This was especially visible in discussions around real-time personalization, risk controls, and performance optimization at scale.
Another major topic was regulatory readiness and localization depth, particularly for markets like Brazil. Conversations went beyond basic compliance and into how platforms must adapt quickly to local rules, payment behaviors, and reporting requirements without slowing down operations. In the short to medium term, the competitive edge will come from platforms that combine flexibility, strong performance under load, and the ability to adjust to regulatory and market changes without major rework".

After attending the event, what are the company's main strategic priorities for this year? Are you preparing the launch of new products or developments for this year, and in what areas will you be focused?
"After ICE, our priorities for the year are clearly centered on platform scalability, faster delivery cycles, and deeper localization for regulated markets. The conversations we had at the event reinforced that operators want partners who can support growth without adding operational complexity, so a major focus for us is continuing to optimize performance, stability, and deployment speed across our platform.
In terms of developments, we’re concentrating on expanding our personalization and player management capabilities, alongside tools that give operators more control over configuration, bonuses, and market-specific setups. We’re also investing in features that help teams respond more quickly to regulatory and reporting requirements. Overall, the direction is about giving operators more flexibility at the platform level while keeping reliability and compliance readiness at the core."

To finish, Do you plan to address new markets or strengthen your presence in key jurisdictions during 2026? What factors influence that decision?
"Yes, expanding into new regulated markets while deepening our presence in key jurisdictions is a core priority for 2026. At the same time, we’re not chasing expansion for its own sake—the focus is on markets where there is a clear regulatory structure, sustainable demand, and long-term growth potential. Brazil remains a major focus, alongside other regulated opportunities where operators are looking for stable, compliant platform partners.
Our decisions are driven by a combination of regulatory clarity, payment ecosystem maturity, and the operational readiness of local operators. We also look closely at how quickly we can localize, from integrations and reporting to player experience, without compromising performance or compliance. The goal is to grow in markets where we can deliver real, long-term value rather than just short-term market entry".
