(Spain).- The US investment fund Blackstone, owner of the entertainment and gaming group Cirsa since last April, begins to take measures in the Catalan conglomerate. One of its first steps has been to move the headquarters of Cirsa International Business Corporation to Madrid.
This holding concentrates the companies that the group has abroad, especially in Latin America. Its corporate headquarters was in the headquarters of Terrassa. Now it has been located in calle Fermina Sevillano number 5 in Madrid.
In Cirsa dissociate the movement of the separatist process: "It is a decision that has taken the legal team of the group. They understand that it is better for our operations that the international business is based in Madrid. Grupo Cirsa was born in Terrassa and here we are going to stay. If we had wanted to leave, we would have done it in October."
Cirsa is a conglomerate of vast dimensions, composed of almost 300 companies. Hence, it has been structured in two holding companies.
