Resolutive Council grants operating permits for 2 gaming casinos in the communes of Antofagasta and Talca

(Santiago).- This Friday, November 10, the Resolution Council of the Superintendency of Gaming Casinos authorized 2 operating permits for gaming casinos to the companies Dalmacia Gamming S.A. for the commune and Region of Antofagasta; and the Sociedad de Ríos Claros S.A. for the commune of Talca in the Maule Region.
The public hearing was chaired by the Undersecretary of the Treasury, Ms. Heidi Berner Herrera, in her capacity as President of the Resolution Council, a collegiate body that has the exclusive power to grant, deny, renew and revoke operating permits for gaming casinos in the country, as well as the gaming licenses and annexed services, in accordance with the provisions of the Casino Law, and on the basis of the proposal made by the Superintendent of Gaming Casinos.
It should be considered that, as a consequence of the application of the modifications to Law No. 19,995, of August 2015, the casinos that renew or are awarded the operating permit must pay the municipalities annually an economic offer for the values that they Below are indicated, which corresponds to an additional contribution to the one they deliver as a specific tax for their gross income and the visits they receive.
