World Number 1 Will Bayley presents £5,000 donation to Charitable Trust

(Espelkamp).- MERKUR UK Brand Ambassador and World Number One Paralympic table tennis star Will Bayley took time out of his preparations for the Paris 2024 Games to hot foot it to the EAG show at ExCeL London and present the Bacta Charitable Trust with a very welcome donation of £5,000.
The presentation which was made at the UK’s leading exhibition for the amusements and gaming entertainment industry is part of MERKUR UK’s inspirational Initiative programme which has seen it support in excess of 50 charities following its launch in summer 2021.
MERKUR UK General Manager Sascha Blodau said: “We are great supporters of the Bacta Charitable Trust which has done such outstanding work supporting a wide range of good causes over the years. Merkur Initiative shares the same vision of recognising those smaller organisations which do such important work in their communities helping those in society who are less fortunate. We are proud to support the work of the Trust.”
Will, who took time out of a busy training schedule as he prepares for the Paris 2024 games later this year, said: “I’m impressed by the community work undertaken both by MERKUR UK and the Bacta Charitable Trust. It’s absolutely clear that this is a very caring and compassionate industry. I’m thoroughly enjoying working with the team at Merkur.”
