Arizona to start accepting applications for event wagering licenses in August

(Arizona).- The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) announced that it will begin accepting applications for event wagering licenses in August.
To ensure transparency and accessibility, the Arizona Department of Gaming will publish updated application forms and guidelines on its website on 14 July 2023. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the provided materials carefully to understand the application process and requirements.
Furthermore, the Arizona Department of Gaming will be hosting an informational webinar on 17 July 2023 for prospective applicants. The webinar will cover key aspects of the application process, provide clarification, and address queries from potential applicants.
The application window for event wagering licenses will open on 1 August 2023 and will close on 15 August 2023. Applicants must submit their completed applications within this timeframe in order to be considered for a license. The Arizona Department of Gaming will thoroughly evaluate all applications received based on the established criteria pursuant to the State’s event wagering rules and statutes.
